You made some good points. But any way you calculate it, it looks very problematic for most players. I currently have 9 epic pieces, with 29 days and 10 hours remaining. So round that up to 30 days. Multiply by 20 trades per day allowed, maximum. That's 600 trades. How many epic pieces could I possibly buy? If I can sell a common piece for 12 cursed souls (the average price today), I can buy one epic piece (54 cursed souls at today's price) for 5 common pieces, with a few souls left over. That's 4 epics per day, times 30 days left. That comes to 120 epic pieces. But you have to get 144 of them (48 countries x 3). I can't make it without getting a lot more epics, and I already have bought 3 or 4 of them. Then add in the task of buying some rare pieces, etc., and it just doesn't add up. Also add in the need to spend almost an unlimited amount of time playing to get the common pieces that *are* more easily attainable. Only the most dedicated (translation: "addicted") players will have a chance to complete the puzzle. That said - if we can buy 250 cursed souls once a week with paper strips, that would help the math a bit.

Lastly, if you look at the gems the design comes with, it's not like the design has level 39 and 40 gems. With all of this considered, I'll stick to the "unlocks required" rewards that I have a reasonable chance of winning, and not pursue a "long-shot" design.

 

When a ship design has a crossed-out circle and says: "only available during a special event phase", does that mean the phase is upcoming?

8? Uuuuu you are far ahead of me haha! I've got just 4 myself, the submarine drop rate is low - yup I agree - but there are still enough days within the event for several future changes, fingers crossed!

If such ship design is found under the Rumble market part then yes, you'll have to wait before it will be available for purchase.

The key symbol on the puzzle event menu, do you need a special key to unlock them? I have crossed the second and third key, but when I click them, nothing happens?

As soon as you clicked it the first time the rewards were given to ya (check logbook), you dont need anything additional to get there rewards (apart fom actually unlocking certain amount of cards).

I saw a player on my server who apparently runs two boats (the names are virtually identical), and he finished in the top 3 on four consecutive "Sail to Win" 6-hour runs. I know the Genie buff sometimes offers two "speed-boosting" buffs, but it is only available (at the most) every 12 hours, and it is randomly offered. I know many players with the Sigma buffs have +200 speed, but still, it makes one wonder. I would think if he is recording those very low times without the Genie buffs, then someone should break his time significantly using such Genie buffs. They have not. And he had both boats with extremely low times in two 6-hour periods, back-to-back. He couldn't have had the Genie buff for all of those runs. P.S. When does this player sleep?

 

Are all pirate packages considered a sigma package? I purchased the rookie rally, but didn't receive any sigma buff

No, you won't obtain any buffs from regular sale.

Sigma Sale took place a while ago (5th - 10th June) and only these packs included within Sigma Sale provided you with additional bonuses.

Tier 2 completion = totally unrealistic
damage to jormungrowr, rarely spawns, normal ships do 200k damage, yet we are expected to do 100m damage.
Gp maps: domination 15 times, players say we hate gp maps plus another 25 for horde attack. same scenario will play out, after initial rush players wont be able to get in the maps as queues are always empty.

And to make matters worse, it appears the Jorg only spawns every 4 hrs unless I missed one. The icing on the cake has to be PVE players who have signed up to play PVE on PVE servers are FORCED to play PVP to shoot the Jorg!

Does trades rollover to next day if unused?

Goalbiter: Blitzs spawn about 6 times an hour so needing 50 to spawn a goalbiter, how many hours to wait, you do the maths!

 

For the event Tier 2 completion it says we have to kill 20 Paul or Paulina. I swear a Paulina spawned in the Rumble map when I completed one of the quests in there, it had 25 million HP and hit me for 250k+. Is that the ship we need to sink? Seems impossible

 

Seems the developers have determined that nobody completes the second tier of the event completion.
