Pumpkin Festival​

The Pumpkin Festival features the following:

· 8 event ships (3 normal, 3 minions and 2 admirals)
· 1 quest chain with 6 normal quests and 4 daily quests
· 1 new group map: “Sleepy Brook”
· Phantom Labyrinth map
· Ghost Gantril mini game
· Soul Chaser map (an extra event PvP map)
· 3 new ship designs: Jack-O’-Lantern, Midnight Mare and Ghost Rider
· 1 new pet: Zeliek
· Event chests
· Shipwrecks
· Vengeful Shipwrecks
· Event black market (in the in-game shop)​

The event starts at 12 noon on 30th October and ends at 12 noon on 13th November.

All times are local server times.

Event Ships

Vision of Misery, Specter of Pain and Phantom of Despair can be found on maps 5 to 45-1.

All three event ships spawn minions on their death:

Vision of Misery spawns 8 Pumpkin Kings
Spector of Pain spawns 6 Shadow Spider
Phantom of Despair spawns 4 Restless Bones.​

Revenant of Suffering spawns on the Soul Chaser map after a certain amount of Vision of Misery, Specter of Pain and Phantom of Despair have been sunk.​

Uncle Jack spawns on the Soul Chaser map after a certain amount of souls have been collected on the Soul Chaser map.​

All event ships, minions and admirals must be shot with elite ammunition.

Pumpkin ammunition causes much more damage than other ammunition against the event ships (also on the mini games and group map)


Event Ships Rewards

Vision of Misery: The player who inflicts the most damage gains Pearls and EXP as reward.

Specter of Pain: Depending on how much damage you´ve inflicted you are rewarded with Pearls and EXP.


Phantom of Despair: Depending on how much damage you´ve inflicted you are rewarded with Pearls and EXP.


Pumpkin King: Depending on how much damage you´ve inflicted you are rewarded with Pumpkin essences. The player who inflicts the most damage and the player who does the last shot are rewarded with extra pumpkin essence each.


Shadow Spider: Depending on how much damage you´ve inflicted you are rewarded with Spider essences. The player who inflicts the most damage and the player who does the last shot are rewarded with extra Spider essences each.


Restless Bone: Depending on how much damage you´ve inflicted you are rewarded with Bone essences. The player who inflicts the most damage and the player who does the last shot are rewarded with extra Bone essences each.


Revenant of Suffering: Depending on how much damage you´ve inflicted you are rewarded with Pearls and EXP. The player who inflicts the most damage and the player who does the last shot are rewarded with extra Pearls.


Uncle Jack: Depending on how much damage you´ve inflicted you are rewarded with EXP, Ancient emblems and Pearls. The player who inflicts the most damage and the player who does the last shot are rewarded with extra Pearls. There is also a chance to drop the design: “All Hallows Eve” (Fallback: Ancient emblems)​

Quests

You can accept quests by speaking to William Bloodaxe (on Safe Haven). During the quest series you also speak to Loreena Barrett (on Safe Haven).​

New mini game “Phantom Labyrinth”

Once you have collected enough Ancient Emblems you are able to access the “Phantom Labyrinth” map from the Safe Haven by speaking to Captain Ravenbeard.

Your view range is drastically reduced on the “Phantom Labyrinth” map, where you find 4 npcs, one Boss and some moving zones which deal damage to you.

The goal is to kill the Boss, but before you can attack the Boss you have to find and kill the 4 npcs.

You receive Elite points and Pearls when you finish the Phantom Labyrinth. There is also a chance to get King's Booty Bag, Magical Emblems, Divine Booty Bag or one of the following designs: Headless Horseman, Terror Lovibond, Midnight Mare.

Ranking for the Phantom Labyrinth

The Ghostfinder General ranking tracks the best times and has the following rewards at the end of the event:

Mini game “Gantril’s Lair”

Once you have collected enough Ancient Emblems you are able to access the Gantril boss map from the Safe Haven by speaking to Captain Ravenbeard.

On the Gantril boss map you are faced with Emblas and the boss monster Gantril.
The objective here is to sink Gantril. After surfacing, Gantril summons his helper Embla.

Embla has two skills. First is to create a defensive zone beneath Gantril which mitigate the inflicted damage to the boss. The second is that after a certain time each Embla clones itself. You should sink the emerging Emblas as fast as possible.

Gantril takes a dive every now and then, regenerating himself – call him back quickly by destroying his „snorkel“.

The Gantril boss map can of course be completed with the help of hired helper ships.

Two options are available to you:

Helper ships can be hired with Platon's coins:

Helper ships 1 and 2 have to be freed from traps.
Helper ship 1 sinks all Embla immediately.
Helper ship 2 heals you.​

Helper ships can be hired with Solon's coins:

Helper ships 1 and 2 have to be freed from traps.
Helper 1 needs more time to sink the Embla. You also have to help out from time to time.

The healing effect of helper ship 2 is lower​

NOTE: The more powerful helpers you hire, the bigger is their influence on your final result.

The Gantril boss map can be finished in the following ways:

Acceptable (with the strong helpers)
Outstanding (with the weak helpers)
Perfect (without helpers).​

You receive Pearls, Solon´s coin, Plato’s coin, Magical Emblems and ELP. Depending on the final result, you also have a chance to get one of the following: Headless Rider, Terror Levibond, Eerie Outrider, Midnight Mare, King´s Booty Bag, Emperor´s Booty bag, Divine Booty Bag.​

Ranking Gantril’s Lair

The Headless Madness ranking tracks the best times (only perfect scores count) and has the following rewards at the end of the event:

“Sleepy Brook“ Group Map

Once you have collected enough ancient emblems you are able to access the “Sleepy Brook” group map from the Safe Haven by speaking to Captain Ravenbeard.

After you choose the role you want to play (“Damage Dealer”, “Healer” and Tank”) and the team is full you are teleported to the group map.

The goal is to kill “Headless Horseman” before he meets “Pumpkin Head”. When they meet the game is lost or all group members have been killed (no re-spawn possible). The “Pumpkin Head” spawns “Sticky Squashling“ which act as bombs and destroy them self when they are nearby a player. The “Pumpkin Head” re-spawn after he has been killed and applies a buff on “Headless Horseman” every time when he dies.

“Headless Horseman” spawns “Confusing Spider”, which will cast a movement speed slow debuff on nearby players and attack them, and “Clicking Skeleton”, which will attack nearby players.​

You receive Pearls when you and your group finish the Sleepy Brook group map, there is also a chance to get the pet: Zeliek​

The Headhunter ranking tracks the best times and has following rewards at the end of the event:

Soul Chaser Map

The Soul Chaser map is an extra event PvP map. Both event admirals just spawn on the Soul Chaser map.

To enter the Soul Chaser map you have to use the “Order of the Soul” item which can be bought at the black market and you receive as quest reward.

Glitters spawn on the Soul Chaser map which contains souls that give a buff for a certain time when it’s collected.

This buff is stackable but if you reach a threshold of 6 souls, you can no longer collect any additional souls. The buff then changes into a radiant soul.

The buff is only available on the Soul Chaser map.

Collecting souls changes the appearance of your ship design into a cursed or a radiant soul.

If a player is sunk or leaves the Soul Chaser map, a glitter drops which contains the souls that the player has collected.

A special zone appears on 1 of 4 defined positions on the Soul Chaser map where the players can exchange their collected souls.

A player loses all collected souls in that zone. Those collected souls count for the “Samhain Savage” ranking:

1 point for Cursed souls

10 points for Radiant Souls​

The special zone stays at that location for a certain time or until a certain number of souls are exchanged. Then the special zone moves to one of the other positions.​

Soul Chaser Ranking

The “Samhain Savage” ranking tracks the points for exchanged Souls on the Soul Chaser map and it offers the following daily rewards:

Event Treasure Chests

In the Event Treasure Chests you find many useful items, like Pumpkin ammunition, Legba Amulets, Simbi Amulets, Tritons Benelovence, Pumpkin Power, Lionhearts, Firestorm cannons level 1 and some other action items. Additionally you have a chance to receive Mojos as well as Pumpkin, Spider and Bone essences.​

Shipwrecks

The shipwrecks must be shot with harpoons. Items such as Pumpkin ammunition, Armor plates, Black powder, Hailstorm, Firestorm cannons level 1 and Crystals can be obtained from the shipwrecks if you do the last shot.​

Vengeful wrecks

The Vengful wrecks must be shot with harpoons. Crowns, Yulong Coins, Contact mines, Homing mines, and Lost Love can be obtained from the shipwrecks if you do the most damage.​

Souls and Event Keys

The Pumpkin, Spider and Bone essences will be exchanged for ammunition at the end of the event.

The Event Keys will be exchanged for normal chest keys.​
