This is just feedback to Bigpoint, and only that. I hesitate to say much because I know it brings inaccurate statements that I have bad set-ups, bad extensions, etc., and I do not. [I also know that many people have extra-strong subs (and ships) during this time, when they buy the Sigma packs]. That said, this is insane, and something is seriously wrong with this game. My big sub has level 6 (and well-tuned) launchers, strong extensions, etc. Yet, I just fought a guy who sank me a lot...and I mean...a lot...and many of the battles, I took *nothing*...that is zero hit points..off of his sub's voodoo shield! That is ridiculous. Many of the battles he sank me in his first volley, and I had over 1.5 million hit points! It's another reason I just about stopped fighting at all. I reported him, for what good it will do. I also tried my best defensive setting, and he still smoked me. It makes people not want to play at all. For what it's worth, please forward this. Thank you.

Nowadays 250 000 damaged on PvP with a single torpedo is not that much.

Please by aware that if you multiply this amount by 6 torpedo that would be at least 1 500 000 damage (without a critical hit).

If you would like to report that player to be reviewed you'll have to contact Support.

I did report him, but it did no good. (He was back fighting today, using the same thing on the surface). I have virtually everything that guy had, and so why didn't I sink him like that, at least a few times, with my first "6-torpedo volley"? Why, Rymar? And why didn't I at least take a few hundred thousand off of his voodoo shield? We fought over 150 times, and I sank him twice, with Level 6 launchers and everything else, including the Sands of Time. Just using random probability, I should have had a few times I hit him with all 6 torpedoes on the first volley and (at the very least) heavily crippled him. It didn't happen, even one time, in that many battles! I am very interested in hearing your enlightening explanation, since damage from the initial volley negates any advantage he had in reload time.

It is interesting that you can state that

without accessing his account and seeing the way it is set up.

Our game offer multiple pre-sets in both Atlantis and Surface which when set correctly can boost user ability in all sort of fields (damage, critical hits, def, hp, vp to name a few).

You most likely did not do a single bit of damage with your 6 torpedo because:

    a) You were sunk before your torpedo reached the target
    b) Your opponent used Decoy - this special ability cause your torpedo to hit him for 0

In PvP you can't use anything like "probability of a sink" - why? Well, if you fought with a max ship / sub with a smaller account 1 000 times you can't expect to sink him at least once. If you continue throwing your hits on way bigger player it is very unlikely that you'll sink him even once per 10 000 sinks received.

As stated above the most probable cause is the Decoy special ability which can be used frequently if you do have buffs, castles and trophies unlocked.

No, that makes no sense. I know all about set-ups, castles, trophies, the different extension levels, powders, armors, etc. And I use the "decoy" feature myself. (Note: one reason a player can sink someone quickly is using "auto-targeting", which apparently can't be stopped. But forget that for now). The math concept I mentioned is sound. No sinks in 10,000 times? That is just absurd, and I aced six collegiate-level math courses. I've played Atlantis a long time. Normally, when I fight a sub which I am significantly stronger than, he does sink me, and usually within 3-4 battles at the most. Why? The answer is simple. He takes 50% off of me, and I rep back only part of it. Then he comes right back and takes off 30% more and I rep back 15%, etc. And if he comes back and spawns right by me, I am a "dead duck", because he comes back with his full maximum hit points (using the "Light of Tortuga") against me. (This isn't even taking into account that the repair function in Atlantis is messed up, and has been for a long time). And I am only hitting the high points of PvP battle in Atlantis. The "6-torpedo" volley is also flawed. Sometimes, they hit me and sink me in one initial volley. Other times, it is drastically different, and the battle goes longer. It isn't consistent, and should be more consistent than that.
As I said, I use the "decoy" feature, too. I never heavily damaged him once in my initial volley in over 150 battles. He hit me 250k per volley, and with my best defensive setting, his hits dropped to only 225k. My torpedo damage was around 402% versus his at 427.5 %. With Level 6 launchers, I should have had *several times* (in 150+ fights) that I heavily damaged him with my initial volley. There just is no way that he could have survived that long with so little damage.
I fought one guy on the surface several months ago, and I called him out in Global Chat for using an illegal script, and he admitted it! Other players in Chat were shocked that he then (a) berated me for not learning XXXXXX (the specific programming language, which I won't repeat here) and writing a script myself, and (b) bragged about having sailed around for over an hour without getting sunk. I reported him to Support, and Support asked me for a screenshot of the dialogue to help them do their job and try to determine if he was using something illegal. Yeah, that was pathetic, and I'm sure experiences like that are why many players have just given up and quit. And Bigpoint's continuing drive to throw more features at us (cobalt gunpowder, coated armor plates, captain's manoeuvres, etc.) has made it even easier for cheaters to hide what they are doing. These "manoeuvres" are legitimate moves that look like cheating. I would have no problem with it, if this game was an honest one with little to no cheating. Some people claim there is little cheating. But since (1) Bigpoint never publishes a list of the anonymous ship names caught cheating <--(full transparency, which is what should be done, since the ship names are fictitious), (2) players caught with a debuff often have multiple boats, so they just leave the debuffed boat landlocked and play another boat, and (3) many players never get caught (it took almost 5 years for BP to catch one player I continuously reported), we can only speculate from our own personal experiences seeing players doing "extraordinary things" in combat.
The "default" answer you always give us is not correct in this instance. I always thoroughly analyze the different features of the game before posting a question or comment. I never go off "half-cocked". It is only when I encounter something extreme that I make a post commenting on it. Please forward my feedback. Thank you.
