Ragnarok Gems

    I've been hearing about the a comprehensive Index Info being in the making and have been gathering bits and pieces from here and there, yet..... I got stuck now.

    This part is about Gems /buffs.
    As per Bug - Damage | Seafight , it was said that:

    Usefull gems / buffs:
    • Brisingrock - Critical Fire Damage obtained from most of the NPCs found within the ROK (and/or market)
    • Valknut - Fire Damage gem obtained from the ship designs won from the Surtrs Challange (these can be also won from ROK rankings)
    • Cycle Bonus - obtained from a quest after defeating Surtr
    Thus, just to be clear: (a yes or no would suffice)
    1. all 'regular map' gems fail in ROK (defensive as well as offensive) ?
    2. Brisingstock and Valknut are the offensive gems for ROK, what are the defensive ones?
    3. I'm having trouble finding the ROK Valknut I just bought in the event store ... is there some special page / option that describes their levels?

    Hello there Pirate,

    Some regular gems do have some use within Rok region, For example the Hit probability gem (Rose quartz) and also the Hp/Rep gem (Azurite) will both take effect within Rok.
    Special gems can also be of use such as speed enhancing gems.

    Defensive gems available currently for ROK are the Helstone gem which gives fire damage prevention, This is the only defensive gem available specifically for Rok at the moment.

    Levels of all gems are all the same, Example a level 22 Helstone is called an 'Unblemished Helstone' and gives 11% fire damage prevention,
    Similar to a level 22 Rose quartz gem 'Unblemished Rose quartz' Which gives 11% Hit probability.

    this information is super helpful!!
    (turns out I've been playing half-..prominently, making life harder)

    while this is great info, is there perhaps a list of <all> the gems that work in ROK somewhere ? (or am I just being impatient)
    whatever the case, this here is already super :)

    *how can one figure out which gems work by oneself, eg. special gem: 5%dmg vs npcs -> the damage is so minimal, I fear being sure of it would be ..hard.

    Ahoy Pagan_Spirit!

    No, such list do not exist, however the entire ROK works on the Fire aspect, so anything that have "Fire" in it replaces the regular gem of the same kind.

    For example: Damage Prevention -> Fire Damage Prevention, Critical Damage -> Fire Critical Damage

    There are only 3 gems for Ragnarok, but when it comes to special gems you'll have to check these yourself.
