Ranking points in the rift

So with this new ranking system I know you get more points thanks to the the rift, but how on earth are people getting 20-30 million ranking points thanks to it? Is it because the more rifts waves you complete the more it multiplies? Cause I did the full season coins for rift waves 1-25 two seasons ago and I'm not getting more than a million ranking points. Hell, I've even gone back in ranking points for some reason, loosing like a million ranking points and I have no clue how or why

your rift waves add another multiplier in " B " part of the rank calculation formula.

The higher wave you beat the better your multiplier will be, so gaining 20-30 mln of rank points is not such a big deal.

Please be aware that your rift multiplier resets every Tuesday, so it is necessary for you do complete rift at least once every week if you want to keep your multiplier.

Do not forget that your rank points are also reduced by the amount of Diminishing Returns.

So if I keep doing rift 2 times everyday the multiplier will eventually go higher and higher and I'll get more points, will that happen?

And I always log out my ship when I reach 10% diminishing. Even then I keep loosing rank points, and sometimes it goes up by the same amount. It even happens while I play before I even reach the diminishing. I know earlier today I had 38.5 million ranking points and now I have 37.1 million

 

It's not how many times you do the riff it's the how many waves you do, if you do all 30 waves it will be more than if you only do 25 waves it’s less. I only do riff once a week all I can stand to do after that it’s not worth keep doing it.

 

No, maximum rift multiplier equals 30.

So if you successfully pass 20 waves your multiplier will be 20 and so on.

Diminishing Returns issue have been forwarded onto our developers to be looked into.

Ok, so I should do rift once a week to wave 30 to get max points from the rift, got it.

And my rank went down again today, from 37,1 million to 35,9 million

 

This sudden drop may be caused by the Diminishing Returns.

Yes how does diminishing drop actually work? If I log out within a minute after I get 10% diminishing, will I still loose points? Cause I have always logged out within a minute after I get it

 

Diminishing Returns will affect your rank as long as you have it on.

So if you had -20% and you logged out for minimum 3 hours everything should be back to normal untill you hit -10% again.

None of which is listed the Table of Eyewash Stats. Its been manipulated and corrupted since they eliminated using time played on the game as a factor. Hence you see players sporting 12 years Tags and zip for ranking. While on the other hand you will see players who have been on 4 maybe 5 years or less sporting Gold and Silver coins. Best to ignore rankings and focus on building the best boat you can and sinking the high ranking hollow boats.
