server merge

brilliant, ultra server with 27 servers merged... great idea eh... marauder event... primeval marauder spawns... literally hundreds of ships... screen is just a sea of fired shots for 2 seconds then the game freezes and shuts down... well done... whose great idea was this?

Regarding your "freezing" issue I would suggest to use Boost option (Graphics -> Boost).

hi im just jumping in on this thread.. rymar you do a great job but sometimes your answers are frustrating and i expect your just as frustrated giving those answers and we as players in this day and age with high spec pc's laptop's shouldnt have to use the boost function this is just a client or server or some kind of back end issue that really needs to be resolved alongside all the other lag issues.. in respect to this ultra server to be honest its a mess normal players cant do quests or events with out being sunk nonstop its like being a ping pong ball and is not enjoyable and yes i know this is called seafight you fight but.. we do need to do other tasks and leveling up events dailys etc has become impossible for some and basicly pointless if the game continues in this way the game will just become an AI played server except for few hours in evening or weekends when they just use the ai to help them as they play. maybe they should split the ultra server or put in a account server transfer option so players can decide if they want to stay or move to another server before they just leave the game!!

 

very well put airtec, i agree totally, yes its called seafight, however quests, events etc have always been an integral part of the game and to create a situation where completing things have become almost impossible except for the few high end players then if this ultra server is to remain then maybe you need to totally revise them or completely remove them, creating an account and starting from scratch is pretty much impossible on this server now as i witness high level ships in low maps just chain sinking low players etc... merging 27 servers was a ridiculous idea, a more sensible option would have been to create a worldwide pve server and give players the option to transfer their ships from any server into the new one.. every event is put in place across all servers and it works fine on many servers, global 7, global 8 etc however the new ultra server is just a complete mess, there is no other way to describe it.
