i was wondering how does one get the Indicpherable scroll....just being pointed in the direction would be great

 

There's two. Both are obtained by the phase 3 quests. One on the surface, one in Atlantis.

 

I agree with what Lude1962 stated. I play solo, and personally like to put off any group maps until the last half of each event. That noted, I realized (still with 8 days to go in the event), that I had done only 1 portal, and would not have a chance to complete the "event completion" requirement myself. I asked a longtime player yesterday if his guild mates might help me, but they all log-in at different times, and the effort to cooordinate such a task is significant. So basically, I will be 3 short of the 12 needed, and I am almost finished with all of the other parts of the "event completion" challenge. Now that there is a bonus for completing each event consecutively, that is a bummer. True - it is partly my fault, but what constituted a "group map" wasn't clear to begin with. So I am a bit bummed out. The responsibilty for clarity is not mine, and it falls to Bigpoint. And while I know that you (Rymar) volunteer and have limited time, again, that isn't my fault! If BP wants to run a good game, they must invest in the resources to do so. Otherwise, we get a sub-par game, people get disenchanted and quit, and the game dies off. If it doesn't get better, the odds are probably against a 20th birthday celebration.

Big Portal can be summoned once you collected some Jewels.

Big Portal can be summoned once you collected some Jewels.
I got three but how and where I summoned them? And cant do those portals again finish them or they restart everyday cause two of them is pretty impossible to finish.

Alright so, firstly you obtained the Key of Forever which can be combined with Temporal Energy (this buff has to be repurchased every 24 hours). Once you own both item you need to be in SH in order to use it. While in SH press on your Key of Forever and you'll be teleported to the Map of Forever.

In front of you there is a huge island with Multiple circus buildings on it and a quest giver Al-Akhir.

On top of that you can find Loki, Koli or Ilok depending on the Quiz part.

All around the huge island you can find small rotating portals with different names:

• Portal of Soul
• Portal of Mind
• Portal of Space
• Portal of Power
• Portal of Reality
• Portal of Time

Each and every portal provide you with a different challenge, some are super easy some require you to focus on your movement ect. (more info below).

Once portal is completed you'll be awarded with a random Jewel, such Jewel can be used at Al-Akhir to be redeemed for access to Big Portal.

Next to each and every Portal you can see a small square with a number written on it - this number indicate the amount of "life's" you still have. So even if you fail on Portal of Soul once or twice don't worry there is still some chance to do it again!

In order to access a portal you have to sail into the blue circle next to it and press on a portal - when that's done a Confirmation window with short explanation what to do will be displayed - pressing Confirm will teleport you to that challenge.

As mentioned previously each and every portal is different offering different NPCs (task).

Below you'll find a bit of additional information on each and every portal (personal experience):

• Portal of Reality
  • Within this portal your task is super simple! Sink but do not get sunk!
  • Task: Defeat all waves of NPCs.
  • Hint: Use your Range Books and Bloodlust to avoid hits and to cause more damage.
• Portal of Power
  • Task: Defeat the scary Gantril but before that take a good hit at Creepers!
  • Hint: Zoom in a bit on your map, activate your windstorms and keep your Amulets close to yourself! Constant movement required!
• Portal of Space
  • Task: Defeat all golems.
  • Hint: Make sure that you use everything that can provide you with hit probability to maximize your damage. Defeat golems one by one till the entire colour is gone. Use Black Rocks to heal yourself
• Portal of Mind
  • Task: Defeat the mighty Rat King
  • Hint: Use your minion as your shield to repair. Avoid Rat King when the "target notification" is displayed. As soon as Rat King turn towards your helper rush to deal additional damage. Bloodlust and Windstorms will be of great help!
• Portal of Soul
  • Task: Face the Y'Kanin!
  • Hint: Use bloodlast and Windstorms to balance the range between you and Y'Kanin. In case of trouble run away and repair!
• Portal of Time
  • Task: Help your fellow quest-givers "pirates" run to safety.
  • Hint: Move around the clock on the edges of the map to find all aggressive NPCs. Destroy them as fast as you can and help your friend to safety! Homing Mines, Rockets or Bloodlust may be handy!

Let's say that you managed to complete Portal of Time, Portal of Mind and Portal of Soul (which I consider the easiest, please note that portals which are "completed" appear in the middle of the island and cannot be accessed for the next 24 hours - until you purchase another Temporal Energy Buff) and you were rewarded with some Jewels, now you can either continue with all portals and do as many as you can or simply visit Al-Akhir to see what challenge he has provided you with.

Al-Akhir can provide you with several portals, which can be done only once a day:

• Portal of Joy
• Portal of Rhythm
• Portal of Dreams
• Portal of Death
• Portal of Elements
• Portal of Life

In order to enter one of the big portals mentioned above you need to own certain Jewels and a selected role of Damage Dealer, Tank or Healer.

Please note that you can try to do these portals (as well as mini) on your own and you should be able to pass most of them without to much trouble as the size of your ship do not matter - we are all equal in Map of Forever.

If you choose to do your big portal alone, that's your decision, but please be aware that you can invite up to 2 friends to join you in your challenge - don't worry you won't lose anything, all of you will receive the same rewards (from Big Portal).

Note: Each role, for example Damage Dealer, can be selected only once per "group".

The same apply to small portals - you can invite your friends to do your harder ones - however here only 1 player at a time can enter a portal. So if you invited your friend and he's doing Portal of Time for you then you won't be able to enter this portal at all (unless you friend fail).

When assisting you with some small portals your friend is rewarded with small compensation and a chance for Jewel Fragment (once you collect 10 small fragments you can try to exchange it at Al-Akhir for yet another Jewel). Your account, even if not done anything within that portal, will be rewarded with a random Jewel once your friend completed a challenge for you.

In order for your friend to be invited into your Map of Forever you have to:

• Be on Map of Forever
• Go to Matey
• Find your friend either on or off your list
• Press Invite to join Personal Map

Your friend is required to:

• Own a Key and Temporal Energy buff
• Be in SH

Important:

1. Unused Jewels disappear once temporal energy finish
2. If you select a Portal of Life as your main big portal it will appear right in the middle of the huge island, now select a role wait for your friends to do the same and sail in the middle of it. Once all of you are in the huge circle you as the owner of the map need to press on the big portal.
3. If your temporal energy buff finish all portals and jewels done will be lost / restarted

Well thank you very much,Rymar...finally. I knew you could explain better,but now only few days left of event and I have a life,work,training and more and cant do this in 1-3 hours.

 

This is a wonderful explanation on the portals. That said, I sure wish we had received this "more detailed" information sooner! Seafight players are entitled (after all, we do spend cash) to a good explanation of the instructions. Sure, you can just put the blame on us and say it was buried deep within "the FAQs" (and was it "crystal" clear? uh - no)! Suggestion: next time, make it absolutely clear that the group maps cannot be done at our leisure <--(which is usually the case), and players can only do one every 24 hours. You didn't make it clear enough. Also, get BP to hire you some help, Rymar! Goodness, you should be sick of trying to do this by yourself. And by getting more help, you folks can go back to listing all of the quests at the start of each event, like it used to be. Right now, it is a mess to figure out. We have events with 6-7 quest givers (all roaming around in safe haven with "X', "?", and "!" above each of them), and it is hard to know who to go to (sometimes, the symbols are not correct). I end up having to log out and back in, and then the symbol I am confused about resets correctly (example - from an "X" to a "?"). And I *do* understand what the symbols mean. The problem is this is like everything else that is broken; you tell us to "log-out and back-in", it's a "display error", use a "key bind" if the function (repair) isn't working correctly, etc. This whole game is short-circuiting, and the "quick fixes" you tell us (while appreciated) are building up! Which leads straight back to what I said earlier: get some more people - both developers and moderators - in order to make things much better!

If you have 3-4 friends in a guild or alliance you can do 3-4 big portals within an hour or even less.

This can be achieved by inviting your friends to your portal, so you all can do the small ones much much faster and then the big one (the same repeated for your friends).

1) Was the quest to find Loki's true parents the last *new* quest? (I am still getting offered some repetitive quests).

2) Here is an interesting idea (and question). If you play more than one boat, can you invite one of your boats to the other boat's MoF map to help complete it? I understand the idea behind "pushing", which isn't deemed to be acceptable, but would this be "pushing"? Since others players can be invited, why not yourself? What do you think?

3) I finally was in another player's MoF. He had won 6 separate jewels. He opened the big "Portal of Dreams" and went in. I was there in the blue circle and couldn't enter. I kept getting the message "You can't attack this target". What did I do wrong? Was I supposed to enter (and successfully finish) a different big portal to earn a point toward the 12 groupmap requirement? <--(He had more than one choice of big portals that he could select).

Finish all quest and it will come. Also those under sea.
