THE AUCTION HOUSE UPDATE ​

Ahoy Pirates!

The bustling stalls of Market Cove are closing their shutters for the final time.

In their place, we are proud to unveil a brand new, streamlined system: The Auction House!

Here is everything you need to know about the new Auction System.

System Changes

• Market Cove Removed: The physical location of Market Cove has been removed and replaced by Post.
• New Access Point: On Seachart look at your top hotbar. You will see a new icon Gavel located next to the Basket icon. Click it to open the Auction Window.
• Three Durations: The Auction Window is divided into three tabs representing how long the auction will run:
  • 1 Hour
  • 1 Day 
  • 1 Week 

The Bidding Rules (Read Carefully!)

• Bid on multiple items: You can bid on multiple items at once across all three tabs.
• Non-Refundable Bids: This is the most important point to remember. Just like the old Auction, every bid consumes your Currency immediately. This payment is never refunded, whether you win the auction or lose it.
• Winning: At the end of the timer, the player with the single highest valid bid wins the reward item.
• Losing: If you are outbid, your currency is gone. Choose your bids wisely! If there is still time, you can try to bid again to win the item!
• No Bids: If an item receives zero bids before the timer ends, then no reward is granted.
