Feedback The Crystal Conundrum

Call of the sea can be used multiple times. So when you buy the maximum of 4, you then call all 4 at the same time. If they die or you log off, you don't use the call of the sea. You can simply recall them once you log back in or they die.

yes, I'm afraid I'm the one dropping the chests. I get sunk everytime i'm in the map. I have 2 so far... Also, the FAQ said if you get sunk you get a consolation prize, as in your magic emblem being returned to you. This has not happened to me. When I get sunk, I have to buy another magic emblem to get back into the map... I get sunk almost immediately. This last time I lasted about 15 seconds before someone was on me. Are not equal in this map? Other boats seem to have much harder hitting than mine. Still only have 2 chests. Impossible.

Shoot the npcs, mate! That's your best option. There is one that is 5k in hit points(I think) that doesn't give you any icy chests. But I know one is 3 million hps and does always drop one! If the chest drops near a "ring of fire", wait a few seconds (if you are low on hps) until the ring disappears, to go get it. Also, a battle tip: pick up every tiny vertical sword that you see! I picked up 10 or more, and I had 24% more damage prevention, etc. (you can hover your mouse over the buff "icon" to see what boosts you are getting). It helps in battle. And I agree - I have had to keep buying magic crystals, too. I think that part isn't working correctly. I get 15 Loki's Secret Plans and then go buy 15 Magic Emblems at a time. I believe it cost me 150 x 15 = 1,750 crystals. Don't give up. (It can be discouraging, but you can do it)!

I hear you, mate. When I sank the Great Sunstone, I received over one billion "polyphony" <--(whatever that is), and one "fishy document". I only did it for the "event completion" requirement, and to get season "coins of effort". As you said, the one that spawns after it is over 4 billion hit points! If you are seeking pearls, etc., then I think you are just going to burn up your pearls buying the crystal ammo. At least, that's my opinion. But if you are trying to complete a quest that demands you sink multiple Great Sunstones, then that is going to be costly, and pretty time-consuming, unless you have a large guild.

Hey there oldtimer. Its the event buff you can see it on your buffs list. It has a crystal sign and gives you Damage, speed, crystal loot bonus and lowers reload time a bit!​

I completed the quest 'It's a Rich Gals World' and it did not credit towards event completion. Every other quest counted, so why wouldn't this one? Particularly since it is already very difficult to complete this event.

Try visiting map 2/2 in Atlantis. Jack Hawk within this event can be found in two places:

- Atlantis 2/2
- Guild map (early tasks)

When you enter the Guild Map for the first time you've got no Guild Buff - your Sunstone is on Stage 0 (level 0).

When your guild manage to defeat it you unlock a guild buff and your Sunstone jump to stage 1.

When the Sunstone is defeated once more you'll see a number "2" on your buff - that mean your guild did defeat it twice, so you've reached stage 2 and now you are facing stage 3 Sunstone.

- In this case number 3 indicate that my guild defeated the Sunstone 3 times, we are now facing stage 4

I can't see anything new, so it seems that the changes were not implemented yet - perhaps this will be done today.

Call of the Sea is quite useful if you can get a few friends to do some damage on the Sunstone with you.

Your guild has to defeat The Great Sunstone of Stage 3.

In short your guild need to have level 3 buff unlocked.

Next time you join the PvP map focus on chests.

The RED ones provide you with a PvP (range, damage, range of view) Buff.

The BLUE ones provide you with Speed Buff.

These buffs can be stacked so if you do collect 1 RED chest you'll get 6% damage, collecting 2x RED chests will give ya 12% etc.

Try to get as many of them as you can, sinking most of the players and then taking care of NPCs - thats what I do as first and it works almost every time - unless someone pick more RED chests than me lol.

When you sunk most of the players then for the rest of the group map time you can kill as many NPCs as possible - collecting 10-15 chests per run without breaking sweat, no big deal.

What are these stupid quests we have to be ticklers to find out who is where I haven't seen more stupidity than this.
How to take a piece of the crystal stone.

 

I wish I knew what the third stage was before I started that quest. I'm the only active payer in my guild, so solo I've still got ~100 million left on the zero stage. Since the next one is 4 billion, there is no way I can complete this quest. If one of the completion adjustments is a reduction of the number of quests, then I won't need to complete it. I hope this change happens.

When you hover over the task the list only show up to a quest from July 18, the rest don't fit. So, how would we know that this one quest is not included? And why would one quest be excluded when all the other ones were included and it's already hard to do the event completion of these quests?

With the very large numbers others are quoting (You received 1209600000 x Polyphony) for the Buff, can we assume that the buff will remain after the event?

We've adjusted the event completion, the amount of quests required changed from 18 -> 15.

Unfortunately at this moment I do not have a full quest line (names) yet, so can't rly answer you question.

No, this buff will be removed from all accounts, Polyphony provides you with extra bonuses to Speed, Damage, Crystal Loot and Reload Time only during the event.

Nice, I came to SF and saw that I could go to Loki to collect, so I completed this mission because of the shard.
and completion event is also fine my fire continues to burn.

@Rymar Thanks, I see the new Event Completion now and I now have enough quests to complete. Strangely, the task for 200 event NCP, that I had completed a while ago, now shows 199/200. That's no big deal, I can shoot another NCP. Also, I see they removed the Shard from the requirements of the Size Matters quest, so I just need to visit Loki to finish it.

Overall, they have now given us reasonable event completion tasks. We shouldn't have to do every quest to complete as a lot of players, particularly newer player, would have found many of these quests to be beyond their reach (even just the amount of pearls to buy crystals for the Call of the Sea was huge). It's just too bad they don't think these things through before the event starts instead of in the final days of it.

Quests reset everyday. I get that. But why take away progress on such an onorous quest as Rich Gal? Many other quests, progress is saved towards completion, even after reset. I had one item left. Now I have to endure all the sinkings by predatory boats all over again as I try to get 20mill on Azeroid. Blatantly unfair, SF!
