I actually agree with what dream crusher says, we've talked about it earlier in the thread, it doesn't make it fun.:(

    Ahoy _yköne_!

Immunity should grant you a protection (reduced damage) for few seconds. Regarding the quests, if I am not mistaken there are a total of 3 quests from Eona related to this part of the event (only 1 require damage on the admiral).

Note: These quests are NOT required to be completed - even without doing them once you'll be able to do further event quests from future phases.

    Ahoy Gunnery_Sec†!

It seems that my post could be understood in quite a bad way.

I have nothing against new players, I am constantly forwarding all feedback regarding any game updates / events that you (our Community) provide.

Additionally I provide private "consultations" regarding the account set-ups for both newcomers and homecoming players via our official discord server.

The whole point of each and every event is to grow and move forward - the game is not designed for a pirate to stay on lower level as you will miss out on a lot of game content (like future events, daily tasks for cannons, option to purchase good crew members, season).

I know that "fresh start" can be hard, but when compared to the old seafight (I am here since the game release) right now it is so easy to grow a strong boat.

For example during this event, my baby boat (level 9) that I run without using a single $ (no premium either) playing up to 2 hours a day collected over 150 thunderbolt cannons, perhaps on future phases I will be able to get few more ribs or other extension items so it will be even stronger for the upcoming events.

On each and every event you can find your own way of "profit", all it takes is a bit of time.

    Ahoy M¡ŞÈяŶ!

Same here, luckily we do not have to do that quest at all - it won't stop us from moving forward within the event (future phases).

    Ahoy Bawdyn!

No. The new event admirals spawn only within the Soul Chaser map - however to spawn them you have to defeat regular event admirals within the waters of Nautica.

Sould Chaser quests (Eona) can be skipped on, these quests are not required to move forward within the next phase (however doing the first two always bring additional event points for example).

Regarding the Rumble Tokens, these will be available within further phases (we still have 2 phases to go).

    Ahoy Tergrinder!

Volcanos should be available soon (perhaps within the next phase).

Remove group map from event completion. To be sitting in queue for hours is a joke, so I know I am not the only one not going to try anymore.

Thanks, buddy. I think you and Bawdyn know my other boat: "The*Defiant". I got sick of matters being as they are, almost quit, and made this ship my main one. I started it last August, and it has developed quickly, spending virtually no money! With "pirate protection", it gives me the "best of both worlds". I can farm with it and play events, or use the other ship to fight, or whatever. Sometimes I even sail them both at the same time. I'll shut up now, but I have not forgotten you guys! :)

    Not really.:)
    You misunderstood me.
There's a Phase 1 quest (Questgiver Freya) where you have to do 25 mil. damage to the NPC "Freya!".
If you don't complete this quest, all Phase 2 and Phase 3 quests, and probably Phase 4 and 5 quests as well, are blocked.
I mean, how can a single mission of Phase 1 (in the Nautica area) also block Phase 2 and Phase 3 quests in the Atlantis area?
If the Freya! NPC appeared further down, the problem would be solved.
The problem would be also solved if this Freya mission didn't block all other Phase 2/3 quests. Maybe you could investigate; there might be a bug?

I also just want a fair chance to get the final-quest reward.

You just "hit the nail on the head" with this comment! I can't get my small boat past that one quest that requires level 21+, so I am left wondering whether I can get past this obstacle with upcoming quests. Otherwise, I'm "dead in the water" on the "event completion" goal. That said, I understand I made the choice not to go to higher map levels, but it would be nice if this "blocking" issue could be addressed. Thanks for your post.

One other problem I want to mention is that some quests are not as desirable as others (which is understandable). But since we have no list of all of the event quests with their rewards (like we used to have), it is possible to meet the "event completion" goal, disregard doing future quests, and miss out on some nice rewards. If I've reached "event completion", and suddenly see a new quest from a new quest giver (for example), I go to him/her, don't like the task itself or the rewards, and bypass it, but I may never know I needed to get through it to get to a future one that had wonderful payouts. This gets back to the point Gunnery_Sec just made. So I wish we could see up-front all of the quests and respective rewards, so that we might better plan how to approach the event. (And yes, I know that is a "manpower" issue).

That's how the event is designed. You want to progress further within it = you need to level up.

Not every event content is or will be available for low level players.

There is no bug regarding the quests, it simply works the regular way A -> B (require A to be completed) -> C (require B to be completed) etc.

    I'm not sure about this.
    Rymar,
Please explain to me what a Phase 1 quest has to do with a Phase 3 quest in the Atlantis area?
I don't have to level up in the Atlantis area.
    A, B, C...of course.
But this Freya quest has nothing to do with a quest sequence, it's the key quest for all other missions!
It's a star distribution, and the Freya quest is in the middle, there's no such thing as an A, B, C sequence.

level up - to fix a Bug?

You are right about that mate.... shooting fish in a barrel

Mr.B I'm glad you didn't quit and glad to see you back, and on the water... I pasted you a couple of times as well...FloRida is the boat i had to remake as well.. I just wish Bp would put out more Aura for us folks who can't fight and chose not too...cheers mate

Yes, Dc I would like to see the quest as well instead of phase 1 and so on, there is nothing but that and how many quest per day and rinse and repeat plus the fact the Sunchaser map was made PvP shm... why not just make PvE so smaller players could get that quest out of the way and enjoy some rewards as well, I guess it is what it is, right cheers to my other pirate in arms..

More than likely the last day of the event and we have to hurry up and get it done to finish of the event list, like some of us have that kind of time to play all day....smh

Well... all quests describe a story that unfolds once you move forward within Phases.

The game was always set in a way of "requirement" for the next quest - it is like that in regular quest lines too.

There is nothing wrong with it.

There is no bug within quest - if you believe I am wrong please contact Support but I can assure you they will tell you exactly the same.

If you wish to go further within the event quest you MUST level up to a certain map range.

One quick note, buddy: I sail on the former U.S. East server (server 40). I have my own guild, with no burdensome rules that members have to follow. If you play on this server, and you or your son ever want to join, apply to "TheWanderingDeath". I don't talk much normally, because I sail alone. But if I have one or more members, I change my methods, and it can be fun. (And I share my gold, defend my members, etc.). Just let me know your boat name(s) beforehand, if you can. I just wanted to toss you an invitation!

I believe the point Gunnery_Sec† is trying to make is that Bigpoint thought it was important enough to adjust this event in order to have normal event npcs spawn in all maps, to address the map limitations we currently have. But they failed to address the related problem of Admirals spawning only within a certain map range. That is very inconsistent and flawed, suggesting there *is* a problem with the event design. Otherwise, why do the first without the second?

What Rymar doesn't understand, is that the missions in the individual phases (assuming the Freya! mission is completed) don't follow the usual sequence.
For example, you can complete an Atlantis mission in Phase 3 without first completing the missions in Phase 2.

In my opinion, the Master Key mission (Freya!) has the following structure:

Missions in Phase 4 and 5 conditional, but probably the same structure.

Rymar also can't guarantee 100% whether this is exactly how it was intended, or whether a mistake has crept in.
Also German game designers can make mistakes. It's also possible that a producer's instruction was misunderstood.

I asked him (Rymar) once to have this checked, and I won't ask him again. Just forward feedback...
Only a producer can ultimately check this, but never a member of the volunteer support team.

    Exactly!
But the mission structure/sequence is another point. Connections are obvious, but it is not the same!

Yes - as you illustrate above - my small boat is stuck on that same quest: "Can You Guess The Answer?". My roadblock (due to restricted map access) is completing the 10 quests needed for "event completion", although somehow, someway, I have completed one of the ten. The quest history won't let me see which one, but I suspect I completed the one titled "A Queen's Thanks".
