I was wondering if the Volcano part of the event is over or did I just been missing the times?

 

I've seen it twice since this Phase 4 started.

I received this (You received 1 x Swift Sailing.) is this a skin or perk, or a pet, cause I looked for it and seem to can't find it

 

I think it is a temporary buff you got in the Rumble map, that gave you a temporary increase in speed (like a "385" speed boost).

That is a buff that last 30 seconds within the Rumble map.

I didn't see a discussion thread for the "Nordic Rumble", so I'll ask my questions here. My understanding is that "everyone is equal" in this PvP map (at least, going into it). Does that mean the Sigma-buffed players do not have an advantage? And what about the player with a ship fully-loaded with everything (the top cannons, speed buffs, etc.) - are they at the same level as a new player? And on one trip, I had been in the map for about 30 seconds, and encountered a player with a 1.7 million hit point base. Had he been in there for a lot longer than me? (It would seem so, which brings this question: do we each enter the map at different times? In other words, I may have just arrived, yet another player may have been in there for 10 minutes? That would explain the huge advantage). Also, how do players accumulate VP there? And lastly - does anyone at Seafight ever calculate the math out to see if some of these rankings during events are legitimately obtainable without using illegal help? Thank you.

Thats funny... How is it that other ships can shoot me down with less hp like 500.000 less then me?
Now two ships sunk me and we are equal? Dosent seem like that.

 

You can buy VP with the currency obtained in the map from the trader to a max of 750k. You can also buy it again to replenish your VP. And you get VP from chests and glitters. Also you can gain HP mods from chests. One time, one of my first chests was a 386k+ to hp.

In order to start gathering Voodoo Points you need to unlock them by purchasing a VP buff.

Hello there Pirate,

All your questions can be easily answered by reading our FAQ on The Nordic Rumble.

Within this map everyone is equal - No buffs, No speed, No sigma, No bonus map extras, - nothing provides you any form of advantage.

Within the Nordic rumble map you can find various buffs to increase stats on your ship (depending on which buffs you pick up), Therefore owning 1.5m hp, extra speed, huge damage etc. is possible but can only be obtained within the map after you have entered.

It is impossible for players to enter at different times.

Voodoo points must be first unlocked from a trader within the map and can then be repaired by collecting the same buff or collecting glitters/chests.

There is No possibility to cheat within this map.

The player who attacked me 30 seconds after I arrived with a 1.7 million base must have had exceptional luck. (I think he also had 500,000+ in voodoo points as well). Can a player buy VP additions that quickly? I thought we start with zero runes upon entering the map. Is that not the case?

As for it being "impossible" to cheat there, that would require a software expert to make that claim. It's a big word to throw around. (One player on my server has an "insanely" high ranking. That's why I asked the question). But thank you for the reply.

Each and every chest can provide additional buffs - for example damage, more rockets fired at once etc.

Which allow players to simply sink you faster than you can sink them.

There is nothing wrong with that.

Thx for extremely fast feedback. But maybe I didnt make it clear enough for you.Let me try again. They were shot down to under 500.000 hp after use their items/rockets,therefor I should have sunked them with over hp 1.2 mill right? That didnt happen.Do the match.

 

I hope that is true I have dealt with boats in that map that I have shot and have taken no damage and have used hp amulets and voodoo amulets and the fact I have boats and hit them, and no damage has been done, and the fact they run to the corner and rep you ... so I'm thinking something is going on in that map, but we are always told this can't happen and it does, but it is what it is this game has bugs in it and Bp needs to understand that its a problem and face the facts that bugs are in every event with the same boats always on top of the event list, it's not hard to figure out these boats are doing something for the reason they are always in the top spots

 

I agree 100% with what you just said, brother! All we ask for is a fair game. As for bugs, a recent patchday note states:

• Cobalt Gunpowder still applied a debuff in Equalized Maps - FIXED

So I suppose that means some players were using it to slow reload speeds in "Nordic Rumble". I don't understand why the developers miss things like this! As to rankings - one guy has the top "Nordic Rumbler" ranking right now in my server at over 26,000 points! Goodness - I've played a fair bit, and currently have only 225 points. I did read that the ranking has a lot to the calculation, but it makes one think either this guy is not sleeping and playing Seafight almost non-stop every day, or he is using illegal help. And we know scrolls can be botted - heck, Bigpoint finally gave up and sanctioned them with the "League of Captains" feature. So to outright say it isn't happening is a real stretch! And we aren't the only players suspicious...check out these comments that I just read in Global Chat:
