Why are debuffed players allowed to buy these Sigma packages? In addition to all of the extra firepower (weapon slots) they now have, they have 1.5 second reload times <--(the lowest available). This virtually offsets their punishment.

    Ahoy Dream~Crusher,

Although I can say that you are correct, all players can purchase these Sigma Fleet Packs, which come with the added benefits as stated in the forum post.

Please remember that there are a multitude of effects that the scar debuff causes, which means yes, reload time may be back to the limit of 1.5 seconds, but all other statistics will always be in favour of the player without a debuff.

We understand this can still be irritating, and your feedback is very important to us. I will forward this to be reviewed.

    Kind Regards, RK.

I must point out that the statistics are *only* in favor of the non-debuffed players if *all* players (both honest and dishonest) buy the Sigma packs. (Or if nobody buys them). Otherwise, the cheaters can offset *all* of the penalties they have been given as "punishment". That's "all of the penalties". Getting sunk by a Sigma player with a debuff is unfair, especially when you normally sink them otherwise. It means effectively they have "no penalty". Allowing all players to purchase the Sigma Fleet Packs is wrong, especially when Bigpoint professes to take cheating seriously. But thank you. Maybe someone in upper management will "see the obvious wrong" in all of this. If they played the game much, they most certainly would see it.

    Ahoy Dream~Crusher,

Please refer to the forum post on the scar debuff
    Link!.

I can not debate this matter with you, but I can say I forwarded this onto our seafigtht team and they will review the matter.

Just a quick example, anyone sailing with a Scar IV, the largest long-term punishment, would see these negative effects:

    • Disabled Genie
    • Disabled Captain Maneuvers
    • Disabled Aura of Protection
    • Cannot Accept Quests
    • Final Damage: Reduced by 7%
    • PvP Damage Modifier: Reduced by 10%
    • Disabled Bonus Maps
    • Disabled Raid Maps
    • Disabled League of Captains
Now some of these may seem insignificant but when you look at the total negative imapact on a player capabilities for PvP they alot more potent than you can imagine, I can personally say anyone with this level of scar debuff for this length of time would not be able to sink myself or any players of equal strength.

While I still understand your frustration at the fact that it still benefits the players who are debuffed, this would only return a small part of their strength for a short period of time, while players such as yourself who are not debuffed will receive the extra benefits on top of their strength.

As I have answered your question and this has turned into more of a discussion, I will close this thread. If you wish to discuss the matter further, please do so within the discussion part of the forum.

    Kind regards, RK.
