Threads of Fate​

The event starts at Monday, 30th June at 12 noon and ends Monday, 7th July at 12 noon.

All times are local server times.

The Threads of Fate event features the following:

• Event Ships
• Quests
• Event Chests and Shipwreck

General Info

Within this event, you can collect mystical Threads of Fate and use them to craft quests guided by the three Norns – Urd (Past), Verdandi (Present), and Skuld (Future).

You can find them on the Sharkfangbay Map.

Huldra's Echo, Thorfinn's Pride, Yggdrasil's Shadow and Crimson Raider will spawn on Map 5 - 60/1.

Harbinger of Doom and Karma Squid will spawn on Maps 5 - 60/1.

Threads - how does it work?

Exchange White Threads with the corresponding Norn for:

• Urd: Blue Thread
• Verdandi: Red Thread
• Skuld: Black Thread

Urd (Past) – Master of memory and history.

Verdandi (Present) – Rooted in the now.

Skuld (Future) – She deals in visions and consequences.

White Threads - how to obtain them?

You can collect the White Threads by killing event NPCs.

Where do I use the threads?

Hulder will provide you access to the Temple of the Norns, where you can weave 1–3 colored threads into a quest.

Can I combine different threads?

Yes! You can mix threads however you like.

Different combinations result in different quests with varying difficulties and rewards.
​

What if I only use one thread?

Using a single thread will result in a simpler quest tied to that specific Norn.
​

Can I preview the outcome of a thread combination?

Yes, the Temple of the Norns will show a preview of the quest before you accept it.

Ammunition

Voodoo Ammos cause more damage to the event NPCs.

NPCs

• Huldra's Echo
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with EXP, Pearls, Crowns, Yulong, Safanad, Orichalkum or Voodoo Ammos
  • The player who inflicts at least 1% damage will get White Threads and Event Points
• Thorfinn's Pride
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with EXP, Pearls, Crowns, Yulong, Safanad, Orichalkum or Voodoo Ammos
  • The player who inflicts at least 1% damage will get White Threads and Event Points
  • The player who inflicts the most damage will have a chance to get Captain Chest or Massive Captain Chest
• Yggdrasil's Shadow
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with EXP, Pearls, Crowns, Yulong, Safanad, Orichalkum or Voodoo Ammos
  • The player who inflicts at least 1% damage will get White Threads and Event Points
• Crimson Raider
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with EXP, Pearls, Crowns, Yulong, Safanad, Orichalkum or Voodoo Ammos
  • The player who inflicts at least 1% damage will get White Threads and Event Points
  • The player who inflicts the most damage will have a chance to get Dragonfire lv2, Taureau Amulet, Layered Armor Plate or Poseidon’s Crown
• Harbinger of Doom
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with EXP, Pearls, Crowns, Yulong, Safanad, Orichalkum or Voodoo Ammos
  • The player who inflicts at least 1% damage will get White Threads and Event Points
• Karma Squid
  • Depending on how much damage you inflict, you are rewarded with EXP, Pearls, Crowns, Yulong, Safanad, Orichalkum or Voodoo Ammos
  • The player who inflicts at least 1% damage will get White Threads and Event Points
  • The player who inflicts the most damage will have a chance to get Arctic Captain’s Chest, Bountiful Booty Bag, Chilling Touch, Lost Love, Asklepios Touch or Triton’s Crown

Event Treasure Chests

In the Event Treasure Chests you find many useful items, like Voodoo Ammunitions, Simbi Amulet, Dragonfire lv2, Bloodlust, Overlord lv 6, Bastion lv 6, Chi-Chi Sticks and many other items.

Shipwrecks

The shipwrecks must be shot with harpoons. The player who inflicts the most damage gets many useful items such as Voodoo Ammunitions, Super Armor Plates, Overlord lv3, Bastion lv 4, and many other items
​

Post Event Compensation

The event keys will be exchanged for normal treasure chests keys. The quest items will be exchanged for Orichalkum.​
