Tomorrow during the day we will have a big Synch. During this time we will activate the following:

Part 1

Internal Home Slideshow

To get rid of the mass of layer and organize the teasers a bit better we will introduce a slideshow on the internal homepage.

With this step we will also reorganise the website a little bit to get space for this new slide show element.

You will be able to click though the different announcement and teasers to reach the one you want. This is very crucial because some payment packages (deep-links) can only be accessed by a teaser.

Part 2

Cauldron of Aruba into Client

You can find the new Cauldron in the client. It will be not on the homepage anymore. To get to the new Cauldron you have to enter the Safe Haven. You can find a new character there, representing the Cauldron of Aruba. This character is from the Shaman faction. She is located in the south of the safe haven in the forest.

Remember: The new Cauldron can only be access on the safe haven. On the regular map the menu icon is disabled.

The most important thing about the new Cauldron of Aruba, is the fact that there will be no jokers anymore! Normally you received Jokers when you would get a map piece you already had, but in the new Cauldron of Aruba it is guaranteed that you will not receive map pieces you already have. You will get only map pieces you need to complete your Bonus Map! When the feature is new it can happen that you have several "open" bonus maps. That means if you have completed one, it can happen that the next will start with e.g. 30 collected pieces already. This will happen less over the time.

Part 3

New Group Finder

In this group finder you can invite your current group members and invite mateys to join the queue. There is also the option to select roles before entering the map. If the map has an entry fee, you will pay the fee for the map on entering the queue. you are eligible to play the map until you really enters the map, this means when leaving the queue and reentering you don't have to pay again.

In case of a server restart or shut down we will remove the eligibility and return the paid currency back.

When the players are on the map and leave the map, we will give them a penalty for leaving. The penalty is event based and can change per group map/event. When the player dies on the group map there is a third option in the death screen to respawn on the group map again. This is not the case for special map, where dying is part of the mechanic (Death Fights).

Remember: The synch will contain all the mentioned features. The new Slideshow, the new Cauldron and the Group Finder. We will synch during the day but will try to inform you when exactly the synch will take place.
