What are these items used for?

I keep getting them: pirate bolt, copper spring, ivory cogwheel, dead man's rope, ebony wood, and imperial talcum. What do I use these for? Thank you.

These are the Crafting Components used to craft various item within the Crafting section.

I have them in my asset list but see no way (in the crafting section) to use them. How do I? And how do I use "pirate steel"? I see no description of how to use it. Thank you. P.S. I found the reason I could not find the Gemini Secundus buff in my Logbook. I emailed Support and they told me I got it long ago (which was outside the range of my Logbook). I have so many buffs I guess I forgot it. But Support admonished me for not locating it, and the Logbook limitations were the problem in my case, not me!

Crafting is self explanatory, click on an item (eg. cannon, extension) it will display which items are required to craft it.

Same goes for Pirate Steel which you can craft from other crafting parts and then use Reclamation Station to get some different bit back - you can see what parts will be received if you click on it.

I still don't see what to do with items like "imperial talcum". (I have 19 of them). It is definitely not too "self-explanatory". Would you answer that one example?

1. Go to Crafting
2. Make sure you are not in Reclamation section
3. Go to the tab with extensions
4. Pick Rune of Annihilation as an example
5. Click on Rune of Annihilation - this is level 0
6. Right on side it will display what items you need to own to create one, and yes one of them is the Imperial Talcum

If you looked up at the link I provided there is an example on Voodoo Cannon, everything else works the same way.

Click -> Check -> Click -> Check
