What is this Buff?

I know that the large brown (gold?) circle around a ship is the Light of Tortuga. I've seen ships recently with a smaller green circle. What is that indicating?

No, I don't have a screenshot. It's not like your picture, it's almost neon green and is an actual circle made of a dashed line. If I do get a screenshot, how do I attach it (like you did your image)? The image control wants a URL, not a file.

A smaller green circle around someone's ship must most likely be the genie buff.

It looks like you can only earn the Lamp from the Test 42-43. If I use the Lamp, do I lose it? If so, how else can I get it?

 

Once you get the lamp, it is permanent. You use it and it recharges (in 12 or 24 hours, I'm not sure what the current rule is), and you can use it again, over and over. I got one originally from a test in the 40 maps, but I got another one not long ago, yet I don't recall how (so I have 2 of them now). Rymar can elaborate more on this.

 

It is confusing as I have 3 somehow, but they are Action Items, which usually get consumed. That's why I haven't tried it yet, I didn't want to waste them if I couldn't get more. If you've used it and they don't go away, then I'll give it a shot. Thanks.

No, you won't lose your Lamp, that's a permanent item.

The lamp can be activated only between maps 41-50.

The Lamp offer regular buffs with a chance for an upgrade once you unlock Magic Crystal (When you own Lamp + Magic Crystal it provide more buffs available - selection).

Each time you set your lamp it will spawn a gennie to which you have to talk to and accept / redeem a quest in order to receive a buff (so it is important to have an empty slot within your quest log before using this item).

Lamp can be used once every 12 hours. You do have multiple ones on your account due to few reasons (one being the voucher codes, the other swap from flash to unity), but only one is functional.
