Feedback Winter Thaw 2022

I found him on the two lower ship havens, but he does not appear on the safe haven above 11/1

I have gotten most damage on the worms many times and still not gotten the design and don't know anyone who has... is this an actual issue or are the chances just very low?

 

I just have a question. Will there be Winter maps again in the Ice Floe's?

 

Please be aware that there is only a chance to obtain the ship design.

The event FAQ do not mention Winter Maps in the ice floes, so it is unlikely to happen.

the second phase (increased NPC spawn) starts at 12 noon on Saturday, 22nd January.

will spawn rate off iceflowed also be increased?

 

Ice Floe is not an NPC but a monster, therefore their spawn wont be increased.

You need to inflict most damage on event NPCs to recieve ranking points

 

Well - the list in my screenshot shows my "Kills", and the various Event ships I have sunk each count as a "Kill". It makes no sense that the Wyrm would be treated differently. But maybe so...?

Your fellow pirate is correct, only the NPCs which you have caused most damage are being displayed at the event menu.

I thought about it some more, and now it makes sense. if you shoot it from start to finish and sink it (like the smaller hit-point Event ships), then you qualify for "most damage". (I was concentrating on the "sink" being a "kill"). Thank you!

It was necessary for the quests, but I doubt there is any other use for them.

 

Unless you got more pearls off Event ships as your "Reputation" increased. We have seen that before (up to like maybe a maximum threshold of 2,500 points), but no mention of it here, at least that I'm aware of.

 

One final comment: This Event had some great aspects; none more (in my opinion) than the payout for the "Grumpy Boar" NPC. Well done!
