Feedback Wrath of Calypso Event 2020

I would like to see Cabin Boys at a nice price (like for pearls or crowns) in the Buccaneer's Bounty. I think they used to be there, but even if that is incorrect, it would fit in well with the Sellsword and Guardian crew member offers.

 

From the Event FAQ:
“Penelope” Can be shot with gold ammunition. When she gets killed, a zone of Lost Love spawns where she went down.

From the Bible (Action Items):
Lost Love



Right to the heart: The pain and torment of countless swashbucklers transform your Heartbreaker ammunition into an unstoppable killer of romance and pirates. A real whirlwind of emotions!

The Lost Love item creates a zone beneath an NPC. Shooting it within this zone allows you to cause greater damage!

This item does not work against Players, Guild Towers, Monsters or Admirals. This item also does not work against certain Event NPCs.

Two or more Lost Love zones overlapping will not cause more damage.

Lost Loves can only be used on the normal Sea Chart.

Lost Loves can be acquired from certain Events, or may be available in some special Payment Packages.

Overview:
+50% PvE Damage.
Duration of 5 minutes.
Cooldown of 5 minutes.

The lost love does definently not what it says I never noticed a 50% more pve damage ,more like 10%

 

exept this lets talk about some history ...in the past years event npc used to follow you so could lead them in lost love that calypso creates when finish... So back to today - I wonder why when Penelope finish creates that red circle Badwyn

 

It might be that it is 50% of the base damage, IE before any of the bonus damage that your cannons have or any other damage boosters (Cunning Cannons, Castles etc). Maybe one of our more knowledgeable players (@Kruchy? ) might know more?

 

Yes, I remember that the past versions of this event that the Odysseus for sure would follow you (maybe the Telemachos as well?), so these zones were more useful then. Now its just chance that you can catch any NCP in one of these zones. Remember that you can also use them for non-event NCP that do follow you.

 

At this time we believe there is an issue with the with the Forgotten Love and it's not functioning as it should.

Twice now, I've had the last shot on a Siren (nobody else was shooting it at the time so I know I got last shot) and I did not get the points towards the event ranking. Is this a known problem or are the points based on most damage?

 

From what we know it's damage.

hey just wanted to ask if the reward for rankings were correct. I got this for getting 98th place-

However, on the forum it says 51-100 gets this-

51 - 100.

2 Worldbreaker Cannons Level 0. 1 Aquarius Bonus Map.

was this a mistype on the forum pages for the events or were the prizes wrong? Thanks for the help

I can safely say that the calypso event was an event I enjoyed very much. I have no negative feedback and I hope it returns next year

 

Unfortunately, we have been informed that the rankings were incorrect at the time the FAQs were made.

Please find below the correct ranking rewards.

This again seems wrong, I ranked 80ish and Received x2 Firestorm Level 4 Cannons & Aquarius Map. I do not see that reward anywhere on the list. Unless there is a ranking missed 51-100 where they were given x2 Firestorm and Aquarius.

Hahahahaha you just got scammed with fire storm cannons lolllll, this should be the problem of BP not the players ,feel bad for people spend so much for high rank, those firestorms would be a big dissapointment, it's hard to get in top 100 and any player that is in there wont have any use for some firestorms I guess lol

 

Ikr, It was a really good event but its completely been soured by the fact that I worked so hard to get into just the top 100 to get cannons I have no use for. Even though 2 Worldbreakers is nothing, Its a lot better than firestorms :/ I know human error is inevitable but just feels like it would be easier to give out the rewards posted rather than change them entirely after the event ended. I don't think anyone is to blame I just disagree with how it was handled after the fact.
