I went to Atlantis to do the Feng daily quest, when I came back to the surface, my sub came with me. I don't want to use it on the surface. My ship always automatically came back when I came to the surface before, this time it didn't, what happened? How do I change it back to my ship...?

    Ahoy Tergrinder!

Your submarine was always changing to ship because Submarines were blocked from accessing SH.

    This restriction has been removed.

In order to switch back to your ship you'll have to change your ship pre-set to the one with ship icon.

Thanks Rymar, that worked, but I noticed in the presets it says that my sub is the default. Can I change it to my ship being the default? How? This all seems rather unnecessary, an "improvement" that actually is just a pain in the rear. Bad idea by someone, the surface should be for ships only, not subs. Goodness, can they please change it back to the way it was? All pirate comments I see about this development have been very negative, and I agree with them. :)

One last thing. Before I went to Atlantis, my ship had about 500 voodoo points, now it's at only 295. Does changing back and forth eat up voodoo somehow?

    Ahoy Tergrinder!

The "Default" means that this is your "original preset" - you can change your preset name by double clicking on it, then enter your desired name and press "Enter" on your keyboard to confirm your change.

I do name my presets differently so later while playing I know which ones is which (for example PvP, PvE, PVP4M, Rift etc.)

We constantly forward our Community feedback in all fields (including Submarines) but the end decision is up to GD (Game Design).

PS. I don't rly like submarines myself (on the water).

    Yes and No.

Yes - your VP will be lower as it drop down to the maximum amount that your submarine can have.

No - it won't permanently affect your ship VP, don't worry about it.

Yes, that's my point, my ship now has only 295 VP at the surface, which is what my sub had in Atlantis. My ship was over 500 VP yesterday and since I went to Atlantis, it's now 295. Something's weird. Is there anything I can buy with pearls, etc. to increase my VP permanently, an amulet or extension? My skill points and castles are maxed.

    Ahoy!

Perhaps you selected a different ship preset that has nothing like Ribs etc. (which would explain VP loss)??

Legba's Patronage, Castles for example, but as stated above check your ship preset as you may have switched to a wrong one by mistake.

Please take a look at our
Maximum Values - Voodoo Points to find out how you can boost your VP.
