    Hi i have some questions.

What is the current maximum number of cannon slots, excluding hourly buffs?

The number shown in the forum index seems to suggest that it can be increased further with league buffs i guess? Because you can use more than 1 league buff. Is that correct?
How should expansion slots ideally be used on average for PvP and NPC gameplay?

I currently have 380 expansion slots, but I'm wondering how they should be distributed at higher levels once I reach the maximum number of slots. Are there recommended setups for both PvP and NPC? I mean how many ribs, lanterns, ravens or platings?

And last question what shards shoud i focus? for 300 pcs. or mix?

    Thanks for answers.

    Ahoy ZEDELEYICI!

I just updated the maximum values post for
Weapon Slots, however please be aware that this amount could be even higher if you owned Sigma Buffs (available on sale from time to time).

Yes, you can own all 4 league buffs at once.

When it comes to Ship Expansions everything is tricky, as mixing them even on the same kind (eg. Ribs L6 and Ribs L1) will reduce your stats (using just L6 Ribs would give you more damage prevention), so everything depends on which expansions you own - and on which level your current expansions are.

Your main goal for PvE would be to reach the highest possible amount of Damage Prevention and Dodge Chance, however when it comes to PvP your Damage Prevention is not needed at all (almost, as you just a little to counter your opponent Damage bonus).

    For example (for PvE):

25x Ribs on L6 (375 expansion slots) would provide you with fine HP/VP and 22% Damage Prevention but 19x Ablative Platings on L6 (380 expansion slots) would give you a huge boost in HP and 19.95% Damage Prevention.

Now the choice is yours, more HP? or more Damage Prevention? ;)

PS. If you had 420 extension slots it would be better to use 21x Ablative Platings L6 (420 expansions slots) as it would be 22.05% Damage Prevention rather than 28 Ribs L6 (420 expansions slots) as it would still remain on 22% Damage Prevention.

    For example (for PvP):

I would run full Ablative Platings just to keep my HP high without paying to much attention to the amount of Damage Prevention gained. What is most important is the fact that you can't mix anything while using these extension items as the HP% gain would drop down.

As a secondary PvP preset I would use just Ravens, in this case your ship is on low HP but your Dodge should be very high!

Some players mix these extensions but I find them working best separately.

When it comes to Cores, focus on obtaining the full set of Starjute (Critical Damage) and during your "late" gameplay try obtaining some Dark Indigo Cores as well as all special ones offered during events. Cores can be mixed, so don't worry if you don't have a "set" of a kind. But keep in mind that your crafting actions can't be reversed, so choose wisely and think twice before you destroy your cannons.

If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to reach out! :)

    Happy Sailing!
