Two "Maximum Hit Points" Questions.

I have two questions, based on the "Maximum Hit Points" possible from the Seafight Bible.

(1) My ship has 1,399,500 hit points. When I add my Ablative Plating Level 0 (+50%), my total hit points goes to only 1,412,222. Why? (Please see screenshots).

(2) Is the "max possible" calculation below wrong in calculating that the LoT gets doubled? (I think the base is doubled with Level 5 ablative plating, and then you add one million to it).



Hitpoints

Below you shall find the maximum amount of possible Hitpoints you can have on your ship.

Elite Ship: 300,000
Voodoo Deck: 4,000
Ebony Deck: 2,000
Reinforced Hull Castle Level 10: 250,000
Defense Skill: Hale and Hearty: 150,000
Queen's Legacy: 20,000
Barricaded Top Deck: 20,000
Agwe's Battle Booster: 40,000
Virgo Hull: 12,500
Capricorn Hull: 25,000
Sagittarius Hull: 50,000
Cancer Hull: 75,000
Stainless Steel Fortification: 75,000
Stamina Trainer Level 5: 35,000
Flurite Level 32 Gem: 80,000
Lapis Lazuli Level 32 Gem: 160,000
Manta League Bonus: 20,000
Light of Tortuga: 1 000 000 (stage 1)

Total: 2,318,500

Ablative Plating Level 5: +100%
Genie Vitality: +25%

Total: 2,898,125

Maximum possible hitpoints: 2,318,500 + 2,898,125 = 5,216,625

Note:
You will be unable to have both the Maximum HP and Maximum VP at the same time due to some items using the same slots.

I will take a wild guess (without even counting) and tell you that you are mixing other items with Ablative Plating's therefore decreasing the "Hitpoints %" gained.

@Edit

After calculation your HP should be about 1,422,750 if everything described by you above is currently "active" on your boat - so yea you must have something added to ablative platings.

Thank you - it is still confusing that when I added my ablative plating above (see screenshots), my total hitpoints increase only by about 13k.

And I modified my question since you read it. Is the "max values" calculation wrong by doubling the LoT? (I suspect it is).

 

You are mixing multiple kind and amount of ship extensions.

1 Ablative Plating = 50%

1 Ablative Plating + 1 Rib = 50% : 2 = 25% and so on

Not its not, Light of Tortuga provides 1 000 000 HP (stage 1 buff) which is also affected by Ablative Plating, so if you had Light + 1 lvl 0 Ablative plating then your light on stage 1 would provide you 1 500 000 hitpoints.

Okay. I just don't see how anyone can get their base (in reality) to over 5 million using that formula. (I have only seen a few ships near 4 million). I should be able to get Level 5 plating and put it on my ship and get half-way close to at least 4 million hit points. But I can't. It just does not add up the way it shows it should. Without taking up much more of your time, can you see what I might be missing? Here is what I have with Level 0 plating on and the LoT active:

Thank you, Rymar. I *did* finally find it! I fiddled with my extensions as you mentioned, and when I pulled off one specific set, I gained back about 500,000 hit points. Much appreciated!
